ICEVENTEEN MIGS OF SPRING:
The Israelian formation Seventeen Migs of Spring already released several albums since they were formed in 1999. Most of them are live recordings. Their latest output, again on thir own label Zvukoprocessor, contains three tracks, recorded in Tel Aviv. There are a five-piece now, consisting of Gurfa, K76 (K. Gervis), B74 (Boomshtein), Discord and Friedman, creating experimental music, with a very strong improv. attitude. Tiny, fast sounds give the music a lively structure during part one, reminding of alien conversations. After this (part two and three) the music are darker and slower, though built upon the same way as the opening track. The music reminds of someone who fights to keep awake. But the listener does not get bored. It's nice to know that such nice music comes from Israel.
